As compared with many other Regiments, the Rand Light Infantry has only existed for a very short time. During it’s life the Regiment has always undertaken what was required of it with credit, and to many hundreds of men still surviving, there service with it will, in many ways, represent the most dramatic and eventful period in their lives.

It is with great saddness that that the serving members of the Rand Light Infantry have heard of the passing of Ron Munton a previous member of the Regiment and stalwart of the Regimental Association.
